The TN Heat Girls Basketball program presents…



WHO: Homeschool girls ages 7-9

WHAT:  TN Heat Girls Basketball presents: “SPARKS BASKETBALL WINTER CAMP” Introducing girls to the fundamentals of basketball ball-handling with the opportunity to showcase their work at half-time at 3 TN Heat Girls Basketball home games. One showcase will be at Welch College in Gallatin, TN.

HOW MANY: 7 one hour practices and 3 group showcase performances.

• Practices: all on Mondays from 6-7 pm ~ Nov. 14 & 28, Dec. 5 & 12, Jan. 2, 9, & 16)
• Showcases (Dec. 15, Jan. 28 at Welch College, Jan. 31)

• Practices from 6 – 7 pm @ Jones Brummett Elementary School (1530 Hartmann Dr. Lebanon, TN)
• Showcases are @ First Baptist Church (227 E Main St, Lebanon, TN) and @ Welch College (1045 Bison Trail, Gallatin, TN)

COST: $50 – This covers insurance, t-shirt, and free entry into ALL Tennessee Heat HOME games (for the player).

The TN Heat is excited to announce the re-launch of our Lady Heat Basketball team!!!
Welcoming one of our very own, Heat alumni Coach Sam Logan will be heading up our girls program!

Home schooled ladies, 8th-12th grade are invited to attend the first practice this Tuesday, November 2 from 6-8pm at First Baptist Church in Lebanon. (227 E. Main Street, Lebanon, TN)

  • At least one parent/guardian MUST attend the beginning of practice with their athlete.
  • Athletes, if you have a girls basketball, please bring it with you & come dressed to play ball.

More Meet•Dribble•Shoot practices will be coming in the days ahead as Coach Sam begins to quickly work to form the new team and get things moving.

The Heat is fired up for the re-launch of Lady Heat basketball and look forward to building our Varsity (and possibly Junior Varsity) team this season, with future plans to grow a middle school program as well.
